Our group of companies was founded in 1978 by Mr. A.L Thandayuthapani and ever since we have maintained a strong national and international presence that enables us to stay on the cutting edge of leather technology and provide unparalleled service to our clients.

Our leather is produced in our state-of-the-art tanneries located in Chennai and Ranipet. We offer a wide variety of finished and crust leather customized in an assortment of colors and textures to meet the unique needs of every customer.

Our 40 year history in leather manufacturing speaks for itself and moving forward, our goal is to continue to manufacture high quality finished leather, maintain a exceptional industry standard and provide exceptional customer service.

COMPANY HISTORY

Naagu Leathers, as a group was established in the year 1978. Our PU coating plant was founded in 2006 as an extension to an existing fleet of four full-fledged leather tanneries. Our tanneries have state of the art Italian machinery which gives us near to perfect quality. After many years in the industry, our history in leather manufacturing and distribution speaks for itself. Naagu Leathers, a provider of fine finished leather and excellent customer service, has stood the test of time over the last many years, we have endured.

Naagu Leathers is the only one in India with an LWG Certification given by the British Leather Corporation.

Naagu Leathers is one of the few companies in India to supply high quality PU coated leather customized to the client’s requirement on color, texture and thickness.

Our PU coating plant was founded in 2006 as an extension to an existing fleet of four full-fledged leather tanneries.

We have supplied to top brands like Hidesign Woodland, Hindustan Lever, Amalgam Leather, ECTC, AV Thomas.

FACTORY 

Our production facility is spread across various plants. As a highly regarded finished leather manufacturer in Tamil Nadu; we have extremely skilled artisans and state of the art machines from Italy. Our factory quality management system and the quality of technology adapted are of very high standards. We make maximum utilization of work hours with our way of maintaining the factory material logistics and floor traffic. We constantly work towards improving and creating a high spirited workforce. We infuse advanced ideas amongst our workers to develop finest products. To maintain our unique identity and to set ourselves apart, we constantly adapt to the latest tanning technology.

CERTIFICATIONS

Naagu Leathers is one of the few companies around the world to supply PU coated leather and the only one in India with an LWG Certification given by the British Leather Corporation.
